Zero Waste Miami consists of 4 membership categories:

1. Core Members: Locally operating entities that are dedicated to eliminating waste in South Florida
2. Alliance Members: Local operating entities or individuals that are interested in/supportive of zero-waste initiatives in South Florida OR non-local entities that are dedicated to bringing zero-waste initiatives to South Florida
3. Government Affiliates: Governmental bodies with jurisdiction in Miami-Dade County that support scaling zero-waste initiatives
4. Industry Network: Industry members willing to provide guidance to or work with the coalition to scale zero-waste initiatives in South Florida
